Porsche Cayenne Coupé range expands hybrid line-up

2020 Porsche Cayenne e-hybrid Porsche has expanded the Cayenne Coupé range with the addition of the Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupé.

Like the Cayenne E-Hybrid, the Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupé has a system output of 340 kW / 462 PS* (horsepower) and a system torque of 700 Nm, powered by a 3.0-litre V6 turbo engine producing 340 kW of power and a 100 kW electric motor.

The addition means there are now four E-Hybrid models as part of the Cayenne range. The Cayenne E-Hybrid and Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupé, as well as the Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid and Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid Coupé, which are both powered by a 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo engine and a 100 kW electric motor.

In conjunction with the standard Sport Chrono package, the Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupé accelerates from a standing start to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds (5.0 seconds with the optional lightweight sports packages).

With the Cayenne Coupé, Porsche has added an even sportier variant to its successful SUV line-up. Highlights of the Coupé include sharper lines with a unique roof and rear section, an adaptive rear spoiler, a rear seat bench with the characteristics of two individual seats, and two different roof designs: a panoramic fixed glass roof as standard and an optional carbon roof.

Australian pricing and specifications
The new Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupé is available to order in Australia now priced from $151,600^ with local deliveries scheduled to commence in October 2020. Australian Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupé models will gain Surround View, Privacy Glass, Auto-dimming exterior and interior mirrors, rear side airbags, Lane Change Assist, Comfort Access, Head-Up Display, Driver Memory Package and DAB+ digital radio as standard.
