JAC Motors has confirmed the Australian premiere of the groundbreaking and award-winning JAC DE-FINE concept at the Melbourne Motor Show on April 5 and 6.
The JAC DE-FINE concept showcases JAC Motors’ Guiding Intelligence with Intelligence framework for the future. It is JAC Motors’ vision for continuous innovation, sustainability, and advanced automotive design, and was recognised for this when it won the prestigious 2024 Red Dot Award for Outstanding Design Concept.
The DE-FINE’s streamlined styling is inspired by interstellar exploration. Its architecture sets new benchmarks in performance and efficiency, and its driver-focused interior pushes boundaries for comfort and immersion.

JAC DE-FINE in detail
The JAC DE-FINE is built on JAC Motors’ High-Performance Intelligent Architecture core technology base. Powered by a smart integrated brain and nervous system. The DE-FINE’s 800-volt electrical system includes a 460kW silicon-carbide motor. That enables the DE-FINE to accelerate to 100km/h in around three seconds in all-wheel-drive mode.
Underneath, the DE-FINE rides on JAC Motors’ future-proofed Cross-Domain Integration Intelligent Chassis. Which provides six-way active control, the capability for electric and hybrid power options. As well as rechargeable and exchangeable energy sources. The design is flexible and expandable. Providing both two- and all-wheel drive capabilities alongside fifteen advanced driver assistance safety technologies.
Inside, the Skyline Intelligent Cockpit boasts a panoramic 50-inch forward-mounted curved screen. And a 15.6-inch central screen for vibrant and interactive multimedia display.
