Fiat 500 – Australia introduces the Fiat 500e – the first full-electric model in Fiat history and 100% designed, engineered and manufactured in Turin, Italy.

Charging Modes
- The Fiat 500e supports three different charging modes and is equipped with a CCS COMBO Type 2 socket that enables both domestic AC and DC fast charging at a rate of 85kW in dedicated public stations
- DC fast charging at a rate of 85kW is offered as standard with a 0-80% charge capable in 35 minutes
- In Europe the Fiat 500 e is certified to a range of 311km and it is expected the Australian range will follow suit
- One full charge can support more than a complete working week of urban commuting – based on the average drive distance of 50km per day
- Fiat 500e includes an e-mode selector on the central console enabling the driver to select 3 different driving modes: Normal, Range & Sherpa

- Fiat 500e features Autonomous Driving Level 2 as standard. A forward-looking camera, located behind the internal rearview mirror, supports longitudinal and lateral control of the vehicle, performing intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control (iACC) and Lane Centering (LC)

Completely renewed, the chassis of Fiat 500e ensures driving comfort by wisely controlling vehicle dynamics in order to avoid typical pitch and roll movement of the electric vehicles. Remaining true to its traditional small hatchback proportions the Fiat 500 Electric is the perfect city car and now boasts an enlarged track (~+56mm) and length (+61mm) to host the 42kWh high voltage lithium-ion battery pack, giving an outstanding new stance to the vehicle, whilst dramatically improving the interior usable space.
Unique to the e-powertrain, the vehicle features no transmission tunnel through the middle of the vehicle increasing available floor space and allowing for a new organised central console, which, alongside door panels and dashboard have been wisely designed to provide a storage option for everything.
Fully equipped with an array of features the Fiat 500e offers a driving easein the urban environment and includes an all-new braking system, Adaptive Cruise Control (iACC), Lane Centring (LC), rear-view parking camera and blind spot monitor.
Diamond cut, glossy black 17” alloy wheels give a bold dynamic look while the LED DRL ‘eyebrows’ on the hood and LED blinkers positioned between the bonnet and fenders make the Fiat 500e instantly recognisable.
The full EV nature of the new Fiat 500e is clearly identified by the logo on the liftgate, carrying also a distinctive light blue accent colour. The new 500 logo has been designed to introduce the “e” into the well-known 500 logo. The same logo is also visible in the side at the back end of the daylight opening moulding.
The inside of the Fiat 500e has been just as thoughtfully designed as it’s outside with great focus on the quality of fit and finish. Occupants will immediately recognise a contemporary interpretation of the timeless style reflected by some unique design cues, including the classic Fiat dashboard insert, the two-spoke steering wheel and the rounded cluster make a clear connection with the 1957 original 500.
An unmistakable 500 glass roof comes standard with the Fiat 500e and fills the interior with light, creating a bright and welcoming ambiance. The vehicle is also equipped with a retractile curtain, in order to share the interior ambient when the sunrays are too intrusive.
Bridging the new era is a touchscreen infotainment system, with a 10.25” tablet combined with a 7” TFT full digital cluster which provides intuitive information with a seamless experience. The huge 10.25” tablet becomes the unsurpassed protagonist of the dashboard area. Paying homage to the birthplace of the Fiat 500e the new wireless charging pad, conveniently positioned under the 10.25” infotainment system, features the Turin skyline.
