The event took place at the Zeekr Cityscape Track on the Event Deck of ICC Sydney. Allowing guests to experience Zeekr’s signature innovation and design firsthand. The Z-Track is designed to highlight the brand’s luxury aesthetic and advanced technology. It offered stunning panoramic views of the city. Sneak Peek of the RHD Zeekr 009, Luxury Pure EV MPV
Included in the preview, guests were also able to experience the Zeekr 009, luxury pure EV MPV (Multi- Purpose Vehicle) ahead of its launch later in the year. Available in both 7-Seat (2+2+3) or exclusive 6-Seat (2+2+2) configuration, the 2025 Zeekr 009 will be offered exclusively with a 450kW dual motor AWD powertrain, paired with a 116kWh battery and dual chamber air suspension with electromagnetic Continuously Controlled Damping.
Adding to the high spec powertrain is an interior adorned in Nappa leather complemented by a 15.05” front display screen and a 17” rear entertainment screen, which can be viewed from the 2nd row individual 14-way Sofaro first-class aviation-type seats, including headrest speakers as part of the 3000 W YAMAHA™ surround sound system.
The launch event attracted a distinguished crowd, including automotive leaders, influencers, and celebrities such as Maddison Brown, Jamie Nguyen, Costeen Hatzi, Jordan Stenmark, Matt Suleau and Ryan Gollan.
Guests explored the Cityscape Track and celebrated the brand’s bold entry into the Australian market alongside Zeekr’s top executives.

An Unmissable Experience at SXSW Sydney
Participation at SXSW Sydney marks its official debut in the Australian market, showcasing the brand’s luxury electric vehicles through a series of engaging activations.
At the ICC Sydney forecourt, guests can view the Z-Box, an interactive, surprise-filled experience that highlights the advanced technology and luxury design of the highly anticipated Zeekr X, built on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA). On the Event Deck, the Zeekr Cityscape Track offers a memorable drive experience, where guests are chauffeured around a custom course with panoramic views of the Sydney skyline.
The Z-Gallery completes the showcase, featuring the Australian debut of the Zeekr 009, a pure electric luxury MPV representing the future of connected and conscious e-mobility.
As the official super sponsor of SXSW Sydney, Zeekr will host a series of panel discussions throughout the week, exploring the intersection of automotive design, cutting-edge technology, and topics such as Designing Without Boundaries, Performance, and The Evolution of EVs.

Evie Network Charging Offer with Zeekr X
This announcement comes at the same time as their deal to partner with Evie Charging Network, Australia’s leading electric vehicle DC fast charging network. The Evie network operates at over 260 locations Australia-wide and is powered by 100% renewable energy.
This deal is another milestone in the broader mission to go above and beyond to enhance the EV ownership experience. The deal will offer 12 months of free charging to customers who pre-order the Zeekr X before 31st October 2024.
